About Education For All

At Education For All, we believe in the transformative power of education to change lives and communities. Since 2007, we’ve been providing girls from remote villages in Morocco’s High Atlas Mountains with access to secondary education—something that would otherwise be out of reach.

Each year, around 200 girls live in our safe, welcoming boarding houses, where they are cared for by dedicated house mothers and supported by volunteers. Alongside academic tutoring and personal development, these homes give girls the stability and encouragement they need to thrive.

With every girl we support, we create a ripple effect of opportunity—empowering not just individuals, but families and entire communities for generations to come.

What Are The Issues?

In Morocco’s remote mountain villages, many girls who want to continue their education beyond primary school face significant challenges. Secondary schools are often located far from home, and in many areas, there are no suitable facilities for girls to stay safely near school.

The barriers include:

  • Distance

Secondary schools can be hours away on foot

  • Lack of appropriate infrastructure

There are few safe, supportive places for girls to live while studying

  • Financial pressure

Many families cannot afford transportation, school supplies, or accommodation

  • Social expectations

Girls are often expected to contribute at home, which can limit their educational opportunities

With the right support, girls who want to continue their education can do so — strengthening their futures, their families, and their communities.
